The Bible is a kind of code of conduct for every Christian. Hence, most Christians draw inspiration from the Bible The book of Proverbs is regarded as an epitome of moral philosophy. Apparently, there are other books of same equation. These are the books of Psalm and Ecclesiastes. Clearly, these three books were written by King Solomon, the man the Bible says was the wisest man that had ever lived on earth. Undisputably, these three books are the most read books of the Bible. And reading same has enlightened and illuminated the minds and psyche of Christians. The following chapters and verses are worth pointing out so that many will derive the purpose they tend to achieve. 1. Proverbs 23v9, New King James version says "Speak not in the ears of a fool for he will despise the wisdom of your words. 2. Proverbs 26v4, New King James version says "Answer not a fool according to his folly lest thou be like unto him. 3. Proverbs 26v5, New King James version says "Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. In chapter 23v9 and 26v4, the Bible urges that we shall not speak to fools. OUESTION NO 1 Who is a fool? What makes one a fool? How do we identify a fool? Then in chapter 26v5, the Bible encourages that we should answer fools. OUESTION NO 2 What is the Bible really saying here? I have not been able to understand these verses so that l can apply them in my interactions with people. So what do you think?
