6 Healthy Lifestyle You Should Adopt To Ensure Longevity

Young people are said to exhibit exuberance characteristic of their youthful age. But sometimes they lack courage and resort to performance enhancing substance to boost their moral. That is why majority of drug abusers are youngsters. Those l refer to as youngsters are youths within the ages of 15 and 25 years. People within this age are overly controlled by ego. However, a good number of them may manifest rare maturity but that does not negate the fact that most of them act impulsively. The desire to act courageously causes many of them to take what they should not ordinarily consume. Some of these youths take just alcohol. But after taking alcohol for a long time, its effect on them reduces. So they begin to look for something stronger that can stimulate them. Hence, many resort to taking valium, promethazine, librium and laxotan etc. But recently, due to government clampdown, most of these drugs cannot be obtained without doctors prescription. However, a new drug known as thramadol has been introduced. And many youngsters take solace to it because it gives them the required dutch courage. These youths enjoy the euphoria of consuming same oblivious of harm it does to their bodies. Ironically, at this age; they will not feel its noxious effect. The effect will begin to manifest at a middle age. Obviously, at middle age, those who had saturated their bodies with harmful chemicals and substances won't have the kind of good health that people who hadn't abused their bodies enjoy. At middle age, people embrace a different approach to life. Undoubtedly, people begin to cherish life and desire longevity. But one cannot eat ones cake and still have it. In essence, one cannot have sound health if they had abused their bodies when they were younger. The parents should be blamed for the bad lifestyle of their children because it is their duty to inculcate good behavior in them. But most parents failed to impact the needed decorum. Pertinently, to maintain a healthy lifestyle observance of the following will guarantee longevity and healthy life while transgression of same would make longevity untenable. 1. You must avoid anger. Anger is harmful to the body. And the worst part of it is that when you're angry over a matter or at somebody it is your body that suffers. No issue can be solved with anger. And the person you are angry with might not even know that you are burning. That means it doesn't have any utility rather it weakens the body and even causes ulcers and cancer. 2. You must eat healthy food and also eat wisely. Some people eat as if their lives depend on food. Nay, life does not revolve around food. Even the Holy Bible condemns gluttony. But absolutely, man needs food for sustainability. However, man shouldn't eat like lower animals because when one eats more than the body can metabolize, the system is injured instead. 3. You must not indulge in excessive consumption of alcohol. Consumption of same perse is not harmful to the body but excessive in take of same, weakens the cells, bones, muscles and the liver that removes it from the body. And when the liver is weak, it could also affect the kidneys. Incontrovertibly, nobody can enjoy good health and longevity when these vital organs of the body are weak. 4. You must eat a lot of vegetables, fruits and proteins. But it must be noted that the body needs a reasonable percentage of carbohydrate everyday. However, when the body is assailed with surfeit of it, the body reacts negatively. Hence, you need to consume plenty of vegetables and fruits to enhance digestion. For protein, it helps to rebuild worn out cells. However, the body is better off with plant proteins than animal proteins as excessive consumption of animal proteins weakens the kidneys. 5. You must engage in body exercises. The importance of exercise cannot be overemphasized. This is because the body needs exercise as much as it needs foods. Exercise makes one feel happy and decreases depression, anxiety and stress. Secondly, it helps the body burn excess calories. Thirdly, it helps in muscle and bone development. But for adults, it strengthens their muscles and bones. Fourthly, it reduces risk of chronic diseases. Thus, regular exercise improves insulin sensitivity, heart and body functions. Fifthly, it helps the brain to function properly thereby enhance memory and prevent memory lose. Sixthly, it helps the body to relax. And when the body is relaxed, sleeplessness will disappear. 6. You must drink large quantity of water everyday. The body is made up of about 60% of water. And even the blood contains 90% water. This means that human body is more of water than any other thing. And as we do daily activities, water loss occurs through heat and urination.
