Lawyers Are Buried Face Downward, True Or Fallacy

Lawyers are buried with their bodies turned to face the earth instead of heaven. Yes, this is what people have been made to believe especially in Africa particularly in Nigeria where people believe so much in fables and folklores. But this is nothing but a fallacy and a myth. And even adults hold this view. I call it fallacy and myth bcs till this day nobody has conducted any research to determine the veracity of this perception. An enquiry would have revealed the falsity of this fallacy. Thus, disabuse the minds of the people which hitherto are saturated with falsehood, illusion and hoax. An illumination of that age long misperception would have enlightened the minds. Hence, rescue mankind from slavery of the mental faculty but status quo ante holds. And by virtue of this delusion, many people have discouraged their children and relations from studying law so that they would not be buried.... which people believe to be a mark of condemnation. And these young ones were denied the opportunity of nuturing their God given gift and potential. An enquiry iinto this by none lawyers is sincerely advocated by this writer so that the truth of the matter be churned out. This will enable those interested in legal profession to go into it without any negative toga hanging on their necks. Conclusion Lawyers are not buried as people have been made to believe. Legal practitioners are buried like other humans. There is no special way of burying a lawyer other than the conventional way of burying the dead. This lie must have originated from those who aspired to be lawyers but could not endured the rigours of doing same. Hence, they came out to rubbish and despise what they could not get. Finally, for those who want to ascertain the veracity of what I have said here, l recommend you attend a court session in honour of a dead lawyer which holds in a high court where one has practiced. l, as a lawyer, state unequivocally that a lawyer is not buried with ones face/body facing earth. Lawyers are buried with their face, facing heavens as other people.
